From a baby boomer

Anzac Day War Veteran

We met this very gentle man in a cafe before todays Newmarket Anzac Parade. He talked softly about fighting in India and Ragoon. He talked about the women in their burqa's back in those days, and the protocol of the Gentlemans clubs. He talked about how war has changed and the methods of fighting, and he talked about the Bomb that finished World War 11. Then he quietly farewelled us and walked out to the street parade on a very wet Auckland morning having enriched our lives for sure! Thankyou.
