Forts

Catch-up TV this morning watching the latest BBC documentary series "A History of Celtic Britain", complete with Neil Oliver rummaging around some Iron Age forts.

Then a quick trip through to the antique centre to pick up the hall table we bought on Saturday. Oh and for a lovely latte and cup cake.

Picked up Mrs T at lunchtime and went for a walk along the river Almond with Breagha. Where we stopped to eat our sandwiches was just where the river joins the River Tay, and is the site of the Roman fort of Bertha.

After lunch Breagha and I tramped up to the summit of Moredun Top, near Bridge of Earn. This is one of over 30 Iron Age forts that are scattered around Strathearn.

The views are stunning.

I like it here.
