Set off with Ecodad so the pace was fast as he realised he could bag an additional Marilyn on top of the two corbetts. NotRancid and I headed up Lhadar Bheinn with the aim of meeting Eco again on the corbett. After the munro summit we were slow, but met an old boy who recommended cutting the corner by descending to the corrie floor and up the other side. He added that Hamish Brown always did that.Hmmm.

Made perfect sense and reached the summit before Eco, met him on the down- looking frayed. He made it in time for a trip to The Old Forge for some numb teeth.

We weren't quiet back in the bunkhouse as it was early but the man who came in from Sourlies the day before after a few mega days with disintegrating boots did not wake up.
