Blue and Gold

We drove over to the start of the mountain bike race, Tour de Wakitipu, early today. What a lovely autumn morning it was and Arrowtown is just aglow with the colours that we all know and love. What a lovely little town it is especially at this time of year.
The race start was at Millbrook Resort and as we waited for it to start the sun arrived and placed the faintest kiss on the hillside opposite and they just exploded in colour. It was one of those moments you just cherish.

It got me thinking.....

The blue and gold in this image, is it a sign that our future lies in Otago. Mrs O has been saying that we will get a sign when we are ready to receive it. Could this be it or the other, more plausable alternative, has Mrs O lost the plot. She is married to me that tends to suggest the latter........
