The woodpecker is attached to the Previous Chief forrester fromthe estate in the Glen.
It was an 80th birthday present, made by a chain saw artist.
He loves it, but his wife gets a wee bitty annoyed at the constant attention it gets from "The touries" (Tourists).

Actually they love the attention, truth be told and Y could regail them with many a good old story. Unfortunately, he's not been so well so he spends most of his day, "Tired and hungry" so he says, but it's more like "He's been too busy holding his chair down" as his wife says.

We wish him better health soon.
