The Road Less Travelled: Burnhervie, Aberdeenshire

Coming from Inverurie, you cross the bridge at Burnhervie and after the sharp left hand bend in the road, you are faced with this choice of directions.

The road on the right continues on, taking you in the direction of Fetternear, Grantlodge and (eventually) Monymusk.

The road on the left is indeed the less travelled of the two, being just a stub that leads you past the ruins of the old mill I posted here back on 16th April before ending at a footbridge over the River Don. (Crossing the footbridge takes you on to a track that leads you eventually to Kemnay.)
