We're back up and running again!
The XBox is fixed, following the dreaded red ring of death reported previously.

I was going to give it a go myself, as I'm not afraid of techy things and had looked up all the advice (and nonsense) on the web for possible fixes.

But then one of the real techies in the work offered to fix it properly for me.
How could I refuse?

Well, here is the finished article.
I thought this was an appropriate track to play as a trial.
Worked like a dream, and not too shabby on the score.
