Starling

The effects of the more terrestrial flock are still a bit too much. Bags of rubbish and such have been dipatched. AKHF had to return to Liverpool for work, so we recycled a little and then restored with fish and chips (tea and bread and butter) in Southport and had a shoot around the shops. I found a little number in TX Max. Oops. Anyone thinking of having a 1930's party, please invite me!

It was time to empty the fridge of left overs and then Aunty M arrived with Russian Orthodox pashka and kulitch. That's breakfast sorted then.

The time is flying. These are some of the cards that Mrs P saved as a little girl. I had a look on ebay just for interest. She has lots of sets (not quite complete) from the 30's. Mostly cigarette cards avidly collected by a 6 year old then. (Helpful Uncles!) This is from some chocolate bars though, the most beautiful, I think.
