Down by the River

Another cloudy night was spent down by the river under the Toyota Bridge. It was serene and quiet as per usual. What I didn't appreciate so much is seeing the bridge from the bottom. It was, as far as I'm concerned, magnificent. It was like a spine that spanned across the land and river, its shoulders carrying the beasts of the road. It also made me think about how important it is to constantly question everything and to see it from a different perspective, even if it's uncomfortable.

It was scary to walk there in the dark, but it's the fear of the unknown and the unseen that should always anchor you forward. Being too safe and complacent is equally dangerous.
