My first strawberry

I don't have 'green fingers', and I feel out of my depth in the garden, unless I'm sitting on a chair or pushing the mower.

However, last year I planted lettuce and grew a few tomato plants. The lettuce was eaten but the tomatoes failed to ripen. This has spurred me on to try again, so have bought a small plastic greenhouse.

Tomatoes are growing from seed, along with lettuce, basil, peas and some carrots. The strawberries seem to be doing quite well, but these were from plants. The strawberry seeds are growing much slower than everything else.

I'm constantly battling the snails, as they have run amok for too long, but I can now pick them off and launch them to another part of the garden.
