Black Tulip

Here is a macro shot taken earlier today of one of my Queen Of The night tulips. Took this when the sun was shining so bright that i was able to poke my camera lens directly into the flower. The colour you see here is not quite representative of the beautiful black colour you see from the outside.

Tried to get the pollen and the stamens but am a tad out of practice at the moment. I am quite pleased with how it has turned out though... Haven't changed anything on the picture this is straight from the SD Card.

Another long weekend for everyone to look forward to and i am especially looking forward to watching the Royal Wedding this Friday. Whatever you do i wish you a wonderful time.
