My art teacher at school used to criticise me heavily for drawing naturalistic drawings. He said why bother, you could just take a photo if you want it to look like the object. I now find it very hard to take a photo that looks like the object. Why bother, you could just look at it if you want to see it as it is. Discuss (if you want)
