Except/Especially

My boss wrote this on his way out of the office today. I can kind of see his point - he's a humanitarian and a liberal but extremely anti-monarchy, and he has given us an extra days holiday for tomorrow. But five minutes after he'd left my colleague 'amended' the flipchart, and I have to say that I'm in the 'especially' camp. I do have a weird, sentimental affection for our weird, dysfunctional royal family, but even if I didn't I don't think I could feel animosity towards the wedding day of two people who I generally think are in love, genuinely quite nice and ultimately quite blameless

P.S. I also think after previewing this that I need to clean my lens...
