Too Much Water

This is one of our new areas, Kazando, with an unusual problem, it has too much water. It has a co op of about forty families and about a 30 acre valley, which is suitable for growing food, BUT it has to be drained first.
We have to enlarge the river, build a dam and drain the water off. This is a very large project, but will help with food security, going forward.

Harisen writes:

John,
Today I was in Kazando, we were trying to find out if we can start diverting the waterto the main stream, but we noticed the volume of water is still very high.
Then I went to Research Station to collect the approval certificate for shipping those seeds, but they said I should go on Tuesday to collect it. Monday is martyrs day, a public holiday in Malawi.

Regards,
Harisen

The picture shows a small stream with a very fast flow.
