Music is good for the soul

Took a stroll down to Upper St Giles this afternoon and was delighted to find a very lively yet gentle street party in full swing. Being a bit of a philistine I don't know what this instrument is called (squeeze box?) but the lady playing it was, I guess, in her late 50s or so and wearing a beautiful straw hat bedecked with fruit and flowers.

She had also brought along a collapsible maypole, topped with wysteria, and played for a couple of maypole dances. Clearly she is a very well organised kind of lady.
