This season's garlic is just arriving in the markets. I bought some from this stall in Pézenas market this morning and chopped it on some roast courgettes at lunchtime - delicious! Among the other nice things we bought were prawns and sardines - I cooked the prawns in olive oil with garlic and chopped paprika pepper, while Lo Jardinièr fried the sardines. After eating we needed to do a little work in the garden watering our tomato plants, picking broad beans and artichokes and sitting in the sun with J & T.
