April Showers

They actually stayed away from here today which was annoying because on the basis of the weather forecast we had decided not to go for a walk but stay home and do housework. Still we have a tidy home and the plants are watered.

If you were wondering, it's a tomato plant that's enjoying this particular shower. One of the tomato plants has actually got flowers on but I'll leave them to blip another day.

Off out tonight but may beat a hasty retreat. Lots of places have a "Tanz in den Mai" thing going. It's a tradition to dance out April and bring in May in lots of places (the Beltane thing in Edinburgh (and other places) springs to mind) and I really don't dance in public anymore. Although I will admit to having a little dance when I'm pretty sure that no-one is watching.

I like this when I'm out on the roof. I dance my own steps (which means I'll never win the Pan Pacifics*) and generally feel at peace with the world. That's not such a bad thing.
