Saturdays are my favorite. Walked around and enjoy some quality time with B in the cultural district today; visiting the Kimbell Art Museum before heading to our favorite place (yes, I am going to say it...) the zoo! The bonobo chimps were enjoying the stream of water spraying into their habit and their neighbors, the howler monkeys were quite interested in what was going on next door. Both groups were playful and loud. It was great to watch.

B and I sat in the outdoor cafe at the Kimbell that is completely enveloped by the museum. No one else was outside because of the heat, but actually it wasn't bad. B sipped an espresso to combat a caffeine withdrawal headache, while I enjoyed water and the company. It was nice to sit peacefully outside together. It would be great to have a backyard.

Wishing there was a swimming hole close by to cool off in; missing Barton Springs in Austin.
