Riverside

Down at the river on Friday afternoon, after watching the wedding, came across this plant growing by the side of the river. Was not sure what it was, it had the look of a Hosta or Peace Lily about it....have now found out it is a Skunk Cabbage so back down early to blip...may go back later another day to see if the sun brings out more of the yellow leaf/flower & also to see more of the knobbly bract (No sure if this is the correct name!)

On 1st seeing it on Friday ended up with one foot in the river & came back with one very wet shoe, so mobile phone was with me today in case I fell in!!!
