Clumsy with the Axe!

Neil was a bit clumsy with the axe when chopping wood after drinking far too much and got a bit wounded!!

Then my hand got pierced bya stick and there was blood everywhere!!





Don't worry, it's day 2 of my mountain first aid course and Neil and I were role-playing as casualties in a scenario for the other people on the course.

Really good course, the instructor had lots of stage make up so could simulate lots of injuries... it was hard keeping a straight face when acting in the scenarios though.

I passed, and now am a qualified Mountain and Water Sports First Aider. For the next 3 years anyway.
