Blackbirds nest

Spent today finally getting some veg planted. Not going to have a huge amount of time to spend in the garden this year so was trying to get things manageable. I doubt this will happen.

The female blackbird that keeps us company in the veg garden has decided to build this nest in one of our compost bins. It's in the bin where we had been collecting fodder for the new heap so we'll let her raise her brood and the heap building can wait.

As will most other things probably.
