Ring of Brodgar

Two fabulous dives on the Kronprinz Wilhelm today. On the first Cyclops and I dropped down to the seabed to see the massive 12 inch guns at the stern. When the ship was scuttled she turned turtle, so her hull is uppermost and the guns are down on the seabed at 38m. Cyclops got a nice shot of the gun, the internal diameter is 12 inches!

This afternoon we dived the same wreck but headed to the bow, stopping off to examine the spotting top and take a look at the forward 12 gun, buried in the wreckage. We've been blessed with fabulous weather!

We were back in Stromness early so we scuttled off to Scara Brae and the Ring of Brodgar. This stone is one of those making up the ring. It's been a great day, another early start tomorrow to dive the Markgraaf
