Tree Ferns Are Back

The ferns are unfurling themselves in all the woods and hillsides; this tree group is a favorite of mine, and the crop is particularly thick and lush this wet year! Their unfurling from a tightly rolled up ball to a full broad serrated leaf is such an act of re-generation!
