On May 3rd people celebrate the Dia de la Cruz in Granada. It is an occasion to go out with family and friends to sing, dance, drink and eat around these crosses made up with flowers and decorated with pottery, flower-pots and more flowers by neighbours and friends. They can be visited all over the city in squares and patios.If the weather is good it is a good way of celebrating springtime.
