Remembrance - Monument van Bezinning

Today is Remembrance Day here in The Netherlands. Unfortunately I did not attend the memorial service here in Vlaardingen but did observe the 2 minutes silence at 8.00pm.

This is the Monument van Bezinning (reflection/awareness) which was erected in remembrance of those who are victims of senseless violence, not directly related to today but quite apt nevertheless.
