Hey Ron

Went for a walk today. Or rather I was taken for a walk today - I got up and stayed up with Moot this morning from 4:30, consequently I was a bit tired come lunchtime. Still, it was a lovely warm day and it was lovely walking along the river.

When we got to the pond, there were some serious contenders in the Frog-Who-Wants-To-Be-The-Next-Barry-White Competition. The noises might have been because they had spotted this chap who had been loitering very quietly in the reeds.

There is another shot of it just sticking his head out of the reeds but it was a bit too far away. Ditto the picture of the Kite sitting on the top of a dead tree. Oh and so on.

In exciting news, I heard my first wild cuckoo - think I've only ever heard them on tv/rubbish clocks. The tradition here is that if you hear a cuckoo, you should rattle the change in your pocket and that will ensure you will have money for the next year. I'm sure you'll be sitting back ready to point out that it's unlucky to be superstitious - but I rattled my change anyway.

Today's song is a bit of a classic. I just love it. Nice message behind it too - about how all three together can make anything happen. That's a nice message that fits well with the Blip "be excellent to each other" ethos.
