Best, or most boring job?

There are jobs and there are jobs...

With the reconstruction of Blackfriars station there is major work being done on the railway bridge as well. This safety boat, called Watchdog, has been moored in this postion at least 12 hours per day for the past 4 months and probably more.

Ostensibly at the ready to rescue any workmen stepping back incautiously to admire their handywork, and ending up in the drink.

The two-man crew just sit there all day long.

'So what did you do at work today, dear?'

And on the other side of the bridge is its sister-ship, Guard Dog. Two more blokes having stimulating debates about the water flowing past. Hardly exciting.
