Lucky to be alive

We got a call today from a couple in Reading asking us to come and pick up a hedgehog found in their garage. After a 30 minute search I finally found him at the back of the garage. Once out I did a quick inspection and realised he needed treatment as soon as I could get him home. There appeared to be a puncture wound on his forehead and some damage to his upper jaw. Gill cleaned the wounds and gave him antibiotics and a painkiller. Then we called the vet.
We have named him Willy Wonky.
