GLASSHOUSE MOUNTAINS

Arrived in Brisbane midday yesterday,Picked up a camper van and headed north
Not really into photography after an early morning start and getting ourselves out of Brisbane. We stopped at the Glasshouse mountanins lookout and I shot this image of Mt Coonowrin 377m
Lieutenant James Cook named the mountains in 1770 when they reminded him of glass furnaces in Yorkshire. They once were lava plugs within volcanic cones some 25 m years ago.
Banksia cones in the foreground flora.
