Being a grown up

Today Beth had to go to a party at Gymboree which is in the shopping centre. So we got up there early and popped to Next to get some more summer clothes which were desperately needed!

Then on the way to Gymboree we popped into Disney Store. Beth wanted a character towel to use now that she is starting to go swimming with her grandparents. Harry has a Cars one which he got a few years ago, but Beth hasn't. So she chose a Tinkerbell one. One the way out of the shop a member of staff asked her what she had bought and she said a Tinkerbell towel. The lady started asking her questions about Tinkerbell and then asked her if she wanted to call out to see if Tinkerbell would come out of hiding. Being a fairy loving 3 year old she willingly agreed! Sure enough a projection of Tinkerbell appeared on a wall in the shop and flew off. The lady asked Beth to look to see where she had gone and the fairy appeared on another wall before flying off. Then she suggested that we look on a wall at the back of the shop, so so ran off with Beth in hot pursuit. Tinkerbell appeared, waved goodbye and went.

Talk about how to make a 3 year old's day :D

We arrived at Gymboree early so stopped at a cafe nearby to have a drink. I explained to Beth that this is what grown ups do when they are out shopping for the day. She looked very grown up! Well, she is four next weekend.
