Black and white and green all over

Feeling very virtuous after spending the entire day in the garden - pricking out, transplanting, digging, planting, tidying ... Now the rain has finally arrived, growing conditions are perfect, so I made the most of it. This didn't give me much time for photography, and although the swifts were in full flight overhead, again, no hope of getting a shot, so since this magpie posed for me so nicely, it would have been churlish not to oblige.
