Acer

Another flat-out day at work.

Blipped this tiny leaf from an Acer in the garden when I got home.

Also waiting at home to greet me was a message from the electricity company.

Cutting through the waffle the gist of it was...

"You know next Friday, the first day in 19 days you can take a day off? Yes, well, we're going to turn your power off ALL DAY. So you may as well go to work that day too!"

Sadly little Cowper passed away last night.

At least we know she was given the best care and was able to enjoy life a little longer than she could have.
