Now you see it - now you don't!

This was the fourth set of the gates that stood at the entrance to Valetta. Bill was having a good look at them as on Monday 2nd May 2011 in a controversial move the gates were beginning to be demolished to make way for a new Maltese Parliament building and Royal Opera House. So this scene is no longer there. Even by the time we left they started on the destruction!! The city of Valetta within the walls has been an UNESCO world heritage site since 1980.
