Curled-up Cat

In response to the challenge by BethanneElion to blip a cat today here is my Bramble asleep in her tube.

Whereas the chairs are shared the tube is hers alone; Hazel is just too big whereas Bramble can not only fit but turn around inside; she's comfortable stretched out or curled up. Fixed below the tube is a scratching post and a box to sit on or inside, that is also hers (next door's cat has had the nerve to sleep there - that one is too cheeky for his own good) though she used to share with her sister who is no longer with us.

Bramble is just 7 years old, very affectionate and vocal but does not like to be picked up, which is a shame. She has never accepted Hazel, from cat rescue after Holly died, it was hatred at first sight and never improved. He has friends outside but she is a 'cat who walks by herself'.

We love him but I'm sorry for inflicting Hazel on her so her tube is her refuge as well as her bed.

Edit: corrected her age as I can't do arithmetic. Hazel is approx. 5 yrs old.
