Trials of Life

This is in Rainhill where i grew up. All you ever heard about the village was the Rainhill Trials, stephensons Rocket etc & it was like saying to me 'you live in a place where nothing interesting has happened for 150 years'!

The stone bridge in the distance is a skew bridge (amazing design) that features in a lot of the illustrations from the 1800's and is still used today.

Now i think its kinda cool and that it would be quite a nice place to live again some day.
