Sunrise from the cell-phone tower.

One morning, a group of us rose early (before 4 am) and set off to walk up a hill near our camp and work site, to see the sunrise. It was spectacular. Much harder to capture was the landscape in the predawn light, which looked like a Colin McCahon painting, and was subtly beautiful. This shot is one of many, including silhouettes of my fellow walkers, and palm fronds against the golden sky. I chose this one for it's simplicity.
