Berlin Wall fragment, Imperial War Museum, London

In the park next to the Museum they held a ceremony to honour the Soviet dead of the Second World War on today, victory day, 1945. I nearly blipped the ceremony, nearly blipped the bright yellow taxi emblazoned with Simon Hughes' name (he's the local MP), nearly blipped tyhe big guns outside the museum entrance, because they were in really nice dappled sunlight today and looked different. But in the end, given what was going on in the park, I settled on this fragment of the Berlin Wall which now stands outside the main entrance, and says something (not sure what) about the futility of conflict.
