The benefits of owning a dead format:

Best Buy (a US electronics retailer) had some of their HD-DVDs marked down to $10 today, so of course I had to go by after work and get a few.

Hopefully I'll be able to grab a few more (A Clockwork Orange, Into the Wild) at firesale prices from various places before they're all gone for good.


I haven't actually seen Elizabeth: The Golden Age yet - hope it's worthwhile.
