Florence!

What a wonderfully old-fashioned image of a nurse! I spotted this in the incredibly up-to-date, state-of-the-art Bexley Wing at Jimmy's hospital in Leeds today. I am amazed that it is so un-p.c. but also delighted at the same time! It made me want to call for the nurse and see if Florence Nightingale turned up!
I was there for a PET and CAT scan (or a cat and dog scan)... results next Wednesday so fingers crossed for good news! I'm sure it will be!!!

In fact, it was a male nurse who was looking after me (or was she cross-dressing???!!!) D
