Jarra

Here's a mural that can be found on the wall of a tunnel leading into Jarrow town centre. I often see a tramp admiring it so I thought I'd blip it. You can see it is made from lots of individual tiles.

The mural depicts major landmarks of Jarrow such as the shipyard, church, powerstation, metro station with metro holding passengers with blue faces. The block of flats where my friend lives is there too. Actually I think that's her walking her dog.

Btw, did you know that Patrick Stewart spent most of his childhood living in Jarrow? Don't look so jealous.
