The Pimp

Burnet Rose (Rosa pimpinellifolia)

This wild rose is found on limestone pavements (such as the Burren), sand dunes and other coastal areas. Here it is growing on a coastal strip that was once designated as a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) though I am not sure of its current status. It is growing beside the Fife Coastal Path.
