The early bird catches the worm

The courtyard at Neil's workplace has become home to a family of oyster catchers, including some chicks, who wander happily about on the gravel. The company has had to relocate their barbecue site for this year so the birds can nest in peace, but I hope the tasty worm recently captured by the adult in this picture is not on the menu!
