Ginkgo Leaf

Haven't managed a butterfly (der Schmetterling if you are interested) picture for a while and this nearly fits the bill. I really like the shape and I do like the green.

In other news I spent a large part of the day being laughed at by various language learning programs. It wants the German for "second". So I think and remember that time is split into die Stunde (the hour), die Minute (the duh-guess) and die Sekunde. So I go for die Sekunde and get a big fat Uh-nuh. It's die Zweite as in the runner-up.... A wee bit of context there would make all the difference to me. That went on for a good long while.

Out for a walk this afternoon and it's noticeably cooler today. Still about 25 degrees in the shade though - it makes sitting down at one of these cafes and having a cold drink very appealing. The Conditorei in town would have been good but they had a couple of buskers opposite and that's just a little bit too intrusive. Another day though and i'm on for an Apfelsaftschorle and a nice bit of cake (said cake to be Blipped if it's pretty enough).

Today's song is from Bunty Aur Babli. I enjoyed this film a lot and the train in it gives me an idea for tomorrow's song.
