Catching the light

The weather continues to be fine albeit breezy and fresh. Another calf born. There are so many cows and calves in the smaller field that N and T had to swap them round with the fewer in-calf cows as grass is still scarce and we are having to feed hay. But soon the recently cut silage fields will green up and we shall have more space.

What is this?! Well it is a dock leaf growing on the side of the track with the sun shining through. The spider leg shadows are blades of grass growing on the other side. Nothing like experimenting! I hope everyone likes green!
