Patan

I happened upon a group of men playing this game. I tied to figure it out. There were two men in a team, one threw 6 shells in the air, let them land and slapped his leg. The other man in the team moved the pieces around. I did not do well at figuring it out. There was some correlation between the way the shells landed and how many and the number of moves- but i couldn't understand how they were knocking down which colours. It was a beautiful game and I'd like to learn more.
