"Ain't got time to fix the shingles..."

So here's a picture of some shingle instead.
Left Rye & headed out to Dungeness. I'd never been there before & found the landscape, dotted with ramshackle dwellings & dominated by the nuclear power station, weird & a bit creepy, but bleakly beautiful too.
Then on to Sissinghurst Castle, where Harold Nicolson & Vita Sackville-West's wonderful gardens are about as sharp a contrast to the Dungeness beach as you could conjure! Beautiful too, but busy!
