horns of wilmington's cow

I don't know why she Swallowed a fly

Bloody fox has been at it again. Ruby was on the receiving end this time, and the fox was so intent that it took a kick from me to break her from the chase and send chicken feathers flying. It was the Blipped Vixen of last month, who presumably still has cubs to feed.

Well they can bloody well try somewhere else for a takeaway dinner.

Missing feathers and a little bit of blood, but nothing like the injury to Skye from a month or so back - keeping an eye on her for the time being and keeping the wounds clean.

*sigh*

Anyway, lunchtime wander along the canal and hordes of Swallows coming out to play. Little fighter jets that they are getting a decent shot is something of a challenge. It was only on checking this shot on the computer that I noticed the fly that the Swallow was about to... well... swallow.

Decent day at work, but happy for the weekend. *flop*

(oh, and a company that provides photo content to magazines around the world has been in touch (on the back of my Darjeeling photos from a couple of years back, but looking at other general shots) - interesting proposition...)
