Winner!

We played a game using letter squares to make a group crossword. Whoever used all their letters first won. Congratulations to Pan (short for Peter Pan)! This was a great game to practice vocabulary and get conversations going. Everyone had fun with it too.

I've found many of my language students have larger vocabularies than I originally expected, they are just hesitant to use the words they know. So games that challenge students to pull words out from their vocabulary bin and use them are helpful. It also gave me the opportunity to throw new words into the mix.
