Wildfoods

Sis and I were very kindly invited to the Wildfoods festival in Hokitika this weekend. This annual event is a 'must see'. A field full of stalls selling the most revolting things you could possibly think of to eat. Huhu grubs, worms, sheep's balls etc etc ( thankfully they also had some stalls that sold 'wild pork, venison etc which was palatable!! ) Needless to say it attracts a wild crowd too and there was lots of 'merriment'!!! These two darlings were among the many who were in fancy dress..
