Mom & Dad Take a Break

The Cardinals have been busy all week zooming back and forth to their nest with food in their beaks. It't too high up for me to look inside, but I'm sure they have babies in there.

Today they stopped by the birdbath for a quick drink of water, then zoomed off again.

I remember well...it's hard to satisfy a hungry family. I served a lot of macaroni and cheese in those days.

Can't wait to see the babies when they start flying around the yard!
